Available FALL Programs

Fall Ball is different than our spring season. The focus of Fall Ball is more practices, more skill development and less games. Most games are scheduled for Saturdays. There is no end of season tournament.

League Age Determination: Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball and Little League Softball
Age Chart. The dates for baseball and softball are different, but each determines the division in which your Little Leaguer will play this season. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current year. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous year.

Baseball

T-Ball (Co-ed league ages 4-6): This division is primarily designed for players league age 4-6. In the spring, we have t-ball 1 and t-ball 2. In the fall, we have lower enrollment numbers and will likely combine t-ball 1 and t-ball 2 into one division.

Baseball Prep Minors (league ages 7-8): Players will face live pitching from either a machine or coach. Teams are formed based on primary-school location. A player who is league age 6 and has prior Little League or Cal Ripken T-ball experience may enroll at this level with Board approval. A player who is league age 8 and has no prior youth baseball experience should enroll at this level of play. Teams may occasionally travel to other fields in the Treasure Valley to play interleague games.

Baseball Minors (league ages 8-11): All games in this division will be player-pitch. We do accept buddy/coach requests for fall ball, but team placement is not guaranteed. Teams are chosen by the Player Agent and Board of Directors. Priority placement is made for special requests, age (to balance ages in a division), volunteer roles for each team, and overall balance to make teams as even as possible. This division is broken up into AAA and AA divisions, if there are sufficient teams for each division. See the league's by-laws for more details. Teams may travel throughout the Treasure Valley to play interleague games.

Baseball Majors (league ages 9-12): All games in this division will be player-pitch. The Major’s pitching distance is 46 feet and base path distance is 60 feet. Teams will travel throughout the Treasure Valley to play interleague games.

Baseball Intermediate (league ages 11-13): The biggest difference between Majors and Intermediate is the distance from home plate to the pitching rubber and base paths. Intermediate’s pitching distance is 50 feet and the base path distance is 70 feet. Many of the Junior League rules are used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, runners may attempt to steal at any time, and allowing an on-deck batter. Teams will travel throughout the Treasure Valley to play interleague games.

Baseball Juniors or Seniors (league ages 14-16): The Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 12-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. The Senior League Baseball Division is for boys and girls 13-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Teams will travel throughout the Treasure Valley to play interleague games.

Softball

Softball Rookies (league ages 6-8): Players will face live pitching from either a machine or coach. Teams are formed based primarily on school location.
